Help Wanted? Here You Go.
Remember the days of when you can just go to your nearest store and just get a job. When I was sixteen years old it was easier to get a job than it is now when I just turned thirty. Thirty, it really is not that old but in the job market right now you might as well get in line with all the rest of the seniors looking for jobs too. Right now the unemployment rate is in double figures in four states and other states might be joining them throughout the next months.
However here at this blog we do not make excuses or blame anyone for our recent issues. My advice, take advantage of these times as you never know you might just find what you have been looking for in the next few months to a year. I guess I am speaking to those that are currently unemployed but even those who think their job is in jeopardy as well.
If you have faith in these times it does help more than ever right now. I am not a holy roller as far a a church goer but do believe in God and the Holy Spirit and am more of a positivist that just believes things happen to people because either it was meant to happen or it is a challenge for someone who normally may have it easier than the rest. Either way how much worse can it really get. I guess for some, for example, the guy in Alabama who just shot eight people and then just the other day where a Pastor was shot in a church, people are tired of what is happening. However we all are better than that Right?
Guess what, times like these have happened already in our history. Things will get better because history is a cycle and right now we are in a bad part of it? My advise to those out there who are banging their heads in the wall over money, mortgages, stocks or whatever is going down the tubes, is just relax. Easier said than done when money is important, but as long as you have a beating heart that should be the most important because as we all know it all starts with you and how you feel. So if your getting dragged in the dirt, getting your ass kicked or just feeling like you are at a loss all the time, join the club everyone is fighting. People need to stop thinking they are on their own through these times, we all bleed the same color and we all have felt loss.
In summary if you have read this much then maybe I hit a nerve and maybe you will feel better. Or you will join that guy who just blew away the pastor who most likely is blaming God, religion or everyone else for their problems. Guess what, God or whomever you choose as your savior cannot look over everyone at once he cannot just page you when your struggling. The worse thing you can do right now is too use your frustration towards others when you know the root of the problem is looking at you in the mirror. Now you may think I am crazy for writing this but hey I’m unemployed and have been unemployed for a long time. So now who is laughing now, relax, sometimes things take time and they will turn around. I haven’t blown anyone away. I just keep a smile and know things will be better. That is what more people need to do these days. Just believe, things do turn around.
